I learned how to use the Pen Tool, and how to change the color, thickness and look. By dragging different looks I wanted onto my layers. Then I selected differetn colors and brush looks.

In this project I used the soda can template to make my own brand of soda. Once I got my theme of ice/Freeze I put a frozen background for the wrap of the can. Then I designed my own logo and stuck them on both sides.Then I put icicles on the top and bottom of the can for effect. Some tools I used to accomplish this was the magic wand tool, multiply, and ctrl T. When I was done with the design of the can I embedded a background that fit my theme.

In this project I learned about working with the 3D selection in photoshop. Using the soda can template, I started adding in other images with transparent backgrounds. I made the background for the can, then I added the baseball player along with highlighted letters. I warped and arched the letters to fit the can. Then I added the nutrition facts and the barcode and put multiply so the white would be gone. Then embedded the wood plank and scoreboard for the background of the soda can.

In this project I not only continued my learning in animation on photoshop, I also learned how to construct an animation. Using shapes and the ruler tool I made a clock. I used an arrow for the hand and ellipse shape for the clock and other details. Using Alt – Shift – T I duplicated the arrows to point at every spot and then I put them into frames. After I hid and added a new arrow in each frame so when you press play it looks like a clock moving.

In this assignment I was introduced to animation. I used the given rocket and flame images to make the appearance of a rocket taking off. I first made frames of each scene. My text, flame and the rocket all had separate layers. Then I made each scene the duration of 0.1 seconds and put it on a loop forever and it was done!

In this project I learned how to make a wooden text effect. I Learned how to take different pictures and alternate them to look like something else. I used different layers to make shadows and I used the move tool to bring them where I wanted them. I used color adjustments and highlights. I used two different wod layers to make the 3D effect.

In this project I took my knowledge from the last project on how to create an impossible creature and I made my own. I choose a Dalmation and a cow because they are both black and white and have spots.

First I used the magnetic lasso tool to select the head of the cow. Then I dragged it over to the dalmation and I placed it on the head of the dalmation. The head was too big so I pressed Ctl T to control the angle, size and placing of the head. Once I got a reasonable size and placing I hit enter. Next I used the stamp tool to stamp some of the dalmation’s spots on the cow’s head to blend the two together more. To clean it up I used the eraser tool. Some parts of the image looked discolored so I used my knowledge from the colonization project and I fixed those parts up as well.

Next I used the lasso tool to grab the tail of the cow and put it on to the dalmation’s tail. There was still a lot of the dalmation’s tail left so I cloned the grass and covered it up until the tail was no longer visible. After that I had made a cow/dalmatian hybrid. To finish it off I put more spots on the cow and cleaned everything with the eraser tool.

In this project I learned how to merge and blend two pictures together using magnetic lasso tool, cloning tool and the eraser tool.

I first took the head of the rabbit and then I aligned it with the parrot’s head. Then I made the opacity of the rabbits neck 50% so I could blend the two together. I used the cloning tool to put feathers on the rabbit to make it look like an impossible creature. I then erased and cleaned up all of my work and blended the two together. using the Brush tool I added more whiskers on The head to finish it off.

In this project I learned more about making shiny text. I used the same effects as in the last project all I did was change the name and change the colors. I changed the colors in the overlay and in the gradient. I also added some glare using the brush tool.

In this project I learned how to make shiny text. I first got a wood background and saturated the colors. Then I got the text and I messed with the brightness and contrast. I added a blurred picture under the text to make it look glossy and made the color spectrum blue and white to make it look glassy. To finish I put some glare using the brush tool.
